On 6 May 2012, Kerry Ellis will perform at The Night of 1000 Voices at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Other performers currently scheduled to appear include:
- Daniel Boys
- Clive Rowe
- Tiffany Graves
- Peter Polycarpou
- Bonnie Langford
Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway will participate if they can, but this is dependant on shooting schedules for the new Les Misérables movie. The evening will be hosted by Christopher Biggins.
The concert will be celebrating the Best of British and will again be for the benefit of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research which is dedicated to saving lives through leading UK research into better treatments and cures for leukaemia, lymphoma and mycelia. The charity receives no government funding and relies entirely on people coming together to fundraise.
Director Hugh Wooldridge revealed that the concert will feature numbers from musical theatre favourites including Evita, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables and We Will Rock You.
Stuart Morley and David Farman will once again supervise the massed musical forces and director Hugh Wooldridge says:
“This evening is a must for all who love musicals. Come along and hear the best performers in the world performing some of the greatest songs. Come and join in the fun; come and raise funds for a most splendid charity whilst raising the roof of the Royal Albert Hall.”
Tickets for The Night Of 1000 Voices start at £17.50 and can be purchased from the Royal Albert Hall box office on 020 7589 8212 or online at www.royalalberthall.com
