It has now been officially confirmed that Kerry Ellis will take over the role of ‘Nancy’ in Oliver!, from 29 March 2010 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Jodie Prenger leaves the show on Saturday 27 March 2010 at the end of her contract.

The Night of 1000 Voices, the annual, star-studded, event celebrating musical theatre will be at the Royal Albert Hall, on Sunday 2 May 2010 and will fundraise for charity Leukaemia Research. In 2010, this musical extravaganza will be a triple celebration:

Brian May has announced on his ‘Soapbox’ page that Kerry Ellis has recorded a charity single for breast cancer relief. The song, which has not yet been named, was recorded at Abbey Road on 29 September 2009 with:

Cardiff-based male voice choir Only Men Aloud have recorded a version of the Queen hit ‘Somebody to Love’ with Kerry Ellis. The song features on their forthcoming album “Band of Brothers” and will be released on 12 October 2009.
